Brasil loves Pumpkin - Almost as much as I do!!

I love a country that serves pumpkin for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I have been truly impressed with the variety of pumpkin dishes, from the humble mash to vegetable stews and the famous pumpkin, cheese, and shrimp dish Camarão na Moranga.

Just two weeks after I met my husband, Olaf, in January 1985 we took a road trip from Sydney to Mt Kosciusko and talked endlessly about what we wanted to do in our lifetime: kids, jobs, and travel, the conversation ranged far and wide and we eventually wrote down 20 things we wanted to do in our Lifetime. We have revised and rewritten the list many times and I'm pleased to say we have ticked off many places, experiences and feelings that were on each of our lists.
